Serve

The Board of World Mission wishes to journey together with congregations and members of the Moravian Church in North America as we work to answer God’s call to take part in missions. There are several ways that the Board of World Mission can help support you on God’s mission.

General Interest: If you are an individual or group that would be like to be more involved with the work of the Board of World Mission (whether you want to go on a trip, volunteer from home, etc.), scroll down and fill out the “Get Connected” form. For more information on how to get involved, contact our Director of Mission Engagement, Chris Giesler, at [email protected].

Antioch: Antioch is a ministry of the BWM that finds mission placements for individuals who feel called to serve both nationally and internationally. Find out more about Antioch here. To discuss opportunities that Antioch may have for you, email our Director of Antioch, Jill Kolodziej, at [email protected].

Moravian Disaster Response (MDR): Moravian Disaster Response is an outreach ministry of the BWM that offers assistance in areas that have experienced devastation from circumstances beyond people’s control, such as hurricanes, earthquakes, or tornadoes. When volunteers are needed to help with disaster relief, the BWM will make volunteer requests and post them on our website. To be included on future email requests for volunteers, fill out the “Get Connected” form at the bottom of any page on our website and indicate that you are interested in taking part in MDR opportunities. Learn more about MDR here.
