The Moravian Church in America is a member of the National Council of the Churches of Christ, USA, and the World Council of Churches. These relationships open a wide range of resources for educating our congregations about issues nationally and internationally.

The Board of World Mission currently is working in active partnership with Church World Service and Witness (CWSW) with regard to emergency relief and the Reformed Church in America in the medical work in Ahuas, Honduras. There is also a more intentional effort to find ways to partner with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

The Board of World Mission will be looking to find further synergy through partnership to address the worldwide pandemic of HIV/AIDS. It is going to take all the Church joining hands to respond to this single issue if there can be any hope for the millions of God’s children being struck down annually.
