October 16, 2017 by Justin Rabbach

Please CLICK HERE to return to the general update page.

The BWM continues to receive generous donations to help us respond in light of the myriad of disasters in the last several weeks. Below is an update regarding the current status of our response.

Hurricane Harvey
The BWM trailer is in place, and work crews are being recruited for the following dates:
October 29 – November 4
November 5 – 11
November 12 – 18

Additional teams are also forming for mid-December and January. Please be in touch with any interest to join these efforts!

Hurricane Irma and Maria

Rev. Cortroy Jarvis has sent the following update report on the damage he witnessed on a recent trip to evaluate the current state of the Moravian work in the Virgin Islands. Please review the report to get a better understanding of the extent of this damage. There will be much work to be done for a long time. The BWM will continue to be in communication with our partners in the EWI Province and will send out requests for teams should the need arise, and when the details can be worked out with leadership on the ground.

Please see the instructions below on how to make a donation if you are willing and able to help contribute to the much needed financial response to this disaster.
